“World Post Day is celebrated each year on 9 October, the anniversary of the establishment of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in 1874 in the Swiss capital, Berne.
The purpose of World Post Day is to create awareness of the role of the postal sector in people’s and businesses’ everyday lives and its contribution to the social and economic development of countries.”
Celebrating the World Post Day 2014, I will send two postcards — one from North Korea (I just realized that I still have some) and the other one from Thailand — to two lucky persons.
HOW TO GET IT?
I’d like you to share (in the comment column below) the most unforgettable letter or postcard you’ve received (who sent it, what it was about, why you liked it, etc.). All stories will be featured on my blog but only two best stories will be picked to get the postcards. I will wait until tomorrow (9 Oct) at 11 am Jakarta time (GMT+7), so that the postcard will be stamped exactly on the World Post Day 2014.
Thanks in advance for your participation.
Happy World Post Day!
Ps. I also posted this on my Facebook account. Therefore I will pick from the comments there as well.
